Meghan Brinson hails from Charleston, SC, where she graduated from the College of Charleston before attending the Prague Summer Program in Creative Writing. She graduated with her Master in Fine Arts in poetry from Arizona State University, where she won a couple awards, taught as an international fellow at the University of Singapore, and served as poetry editor of the literary magazine Hayden's Ferry Review. She has chapbooks forthcoming from Anabiosis Press and the Midwest Writing Center.

Meghan will be part of a panel discussing long poems at the Other Words Conference in St. Augustine, hosted by the Florida Literary Arts Coalition.
